How Can I Un-install Yahoo Messenger from Computer (Windows Xp)?

Hi, I would like to Un-install Yahoo Messenger from my Computer (Running Windows Xp: MCE). But Every time I try Un-installing it from the Control Panel (Add/Remove Programs)....before it reaches 1% of removal...Windows XP restarts by itself. I've tried cleaning my Registry then removing and still no success. I've also tried using MSConfig but no success since its not a Start-up program, my configuration is you must click it in order for it to run. I've thought of Deleting the Folder from C:\Program Files\Yahoo Messenger then cleaning my registry but I'm not sure if that will work. Any Suggestions?

*Current Yahoo Vers: Yahoo! Messenger 9.0.0.907 Beta

* Software used to Clean Registry/Computer (CCleaner)

*There is no Virus (Software: ZoneAlarm Security Suite)

* I'm able to Un-install any other program

do it in safemode.

At startup press f8 until it goes into safe mode

then choose safemode with networking.

then try to uninstall. should work .
