Laptop with Kaspersky security software, won't connect.?

I installed Kaspersky Internet Security on a laptop and home computer. Now my laptop can't find the wireless device to connect to. I went to control panel, internet connections, and clicked repair on the wireless connection. The repair finished and it still tells me it there's a hardware malfunction. I went into device manager and nothing was wrong there. I've looked at all the physical pieces of our home network and nothing looks wrong. Also, I've never had a problem with our laptop while at home until Kaspersky security was installed. Ask any questions from me and I'll try to get back to you as soon as possible.
