I have the 2007 Norton Internet Security and I have noticed my computer running slower, so I ran a full system scan. It only found one problem, and it was called a "Tracking Cookie". I had it resolved and it said there were no more problems. Then the next day I ran the scan again and it found the same tracking cookie and I resolved it again. Ive done this everyday and theres always that same tracking cookie there that I have to get rid of. How do I permanently get rid of it? Because Norton cant seem to. And I frequently delete internet cookies and files on my browser too keep it from slowing down so that cant be the problem. Anyone know whats wrong?

No, it is not slowing your PC down, You get the "cookie" from a web sites, nearly ALL websites use cookies to store data, such as log in data or shopping cart data, for the most part, cookies are harmless, it will never stop finding them.

Cookies are not slowing your computer down as they come from the webpages that you visit. There are good tracking cookies and bad tracking cookes. The good ones are used to bring up the same webpage you visited faster. The bad ones track what your webpage habits are.
