Question for Norton security users?

Don't know which version I have, It came with my computer which I got 1-07.In norton security online I found a RISK LIST with items to be excluded from scan. There is a long list. Where did it come from? many names start with adware such as adware av system care, mess stopper, my porno, key steal and many more that look suspicious to me and I don't know anything about computers. Should there be a long list of things in signature exclussions under Internet security and firewall settings? Here there is another long list with checks some I recognize such as quicktime and apple but many I don't and none did I put there because I wouldn't have known how to. I keep thinking something is still in my computer(i had a trojan which norton says it removed) Can anyone help me understand what's going on here.? Thanks in advance.

It seems like that trojan may have changed settings in Norton to make it easier for said trojan to connect to the internet and download even more malware to your computer. Of course Norton detected the trojan but the damage was already done.

Modern trojan downloaders are smart, they do this kind of stuff.

(You should also check your Internet Explorer Trusted Zone and make sure that the malware didn't add any malicious web-sites there, as well. Click Tools %26gt; Internet Options %26gt; Security %26gt; Trusted Zone %26gt; Sites.)
