1)What is your opinion about Zonealarm internet security?

I purchased this programme, personally I didnt like it, its difficult to configue and as a previous answer said its very intrusive. I found I couldnt get into alot of sites because the zone alarm internet security blocked it. I wouldnt advise any one to have this unless they are a very advanced user and know what they are doing it needs alot of complicated configuring.

I was using it but swithched to kaspersky.

1) The firewall is good. The program permission are easy to set.

2) Anti-virus is not reliable you still need to have a better one.

3) I love the Identity Theft feature.

4) Messenger Control is fine but I never used it much.

If it notifies you about a software that is connecting to Internet, check the properties of the file. if it has a unknown name check the name in the Internet.
I have it, but i don't really like it much cause it Keeps on hanging and also, it's a bit annoying. And scanning takes longer, but what is good about it is that it is able to find some viruses and spyware that a normal anti-virus and anti-spyware can't find.
Zone alarm protects against port sniffers, and programs trying to access the inetrnet that are not to be.

My personal opinion is that is is a very invasive program, that interrupts too much of my programs.

It slows my internet by about 25%.

I stopped using it over a year ago, and switched to better passive means of security.

ZAIS, in fact licences it's anti-virus component from Kaspersky, it uses the exact same engine and virus signaturesas Kaspersky.
