Norton 360 or internet security?

Which one will slow my computer down more?

I have a laptop with Windows XP Media Center 2005 Edition, Intel Core 2 CPU, 1.66GHz and 2.5gig ram.

I am VERY picky about speed. I have heard once that norton 360 is faster than Internet security.

Also I am not going to change my mind about norton. I don't care about the price. I only want to know which will slow my computer down more. I currently use Norton Internet Security 2008.

(Don't bother saying norton is crap! I am happy with it. Also please don't reccomend me any of the free anti Virus. I have tested loads of them on my other computer and I am happiest with norton. (I like Avast, it's ok, but I have the licences so why not use them?)

Norton will slow you down! Norton installs about 3 things on your PC, Norton Virus, Norton Updates %26 the Firewall. It is a big file but it's worth it because it has full throttle protection for you.

and 3 weeks from now you will be on here screaming your laptop is running slower then a 400 lb man on a treadmill

i know you do not want to hear it but the sooner you get rid of Norton the better your laptop is gonna run
Well face the facts...you dont want to hear it. Norton sucks, its bloatware, not good overall detection, not wroth the price. It WILL slow down your system..get used to people saying Norton sucks..cause it does.

Enjoy your slow system with Norhog.

Happy with Norton? You the average noob pc user then.
Well I have Norton 360 and it is quite good then the previous but now I have Macfee which is quite faster. If you are worried about speed then switch to Macfee 2008 with siteadvisor plus it is very good.
The reality is, you are going to face performance problems with both those products. So I'm not trying to change your mind, only giving you an objective answer.

If you are picky about speed why not try AVG Internet Security. It is very low on system resources, much lower than 360 and Internet security.
